Karaka whips are hard working and long lasting. They are real workingwhips that are easy to crack. Made in New Zealand by a professional whipmaker. The handle is tough, braided, synthetic strips, wound over astainless steel core, and requiring no maintenance. The whip is made ofall-synthetic material, meaning it does not need any maintenance, andwill work the same in any weather. Whip length is a matter ofpreference, but generally shorter lengths are most useful in moreconfined areas (stockyards) or for use from a bike. Longer whips aremost suitable for open spaces and use from horseback. All Karaka whipsare black in colour. Bull whips do not have a distinct handle as such,rather than a stiffening at the hand end. Bull whip length is measuredoverall, whereas stock whip length is excluding the handle.
