Mulesing is the removal of some layers of skin around the anus of a sheep to prevent growth of wool. This keeps the rump of the sheep cleaner, with a reduction in fly-strike. Mulesing shears have rounded tips and angled (bent up) handles. Length 29cm o.a. Blades 12cm. *Special mulesing sharpen creates an acute knife-like edge, instead of obtuse cutting edge.
